What Is Feminism? – Equality For All or Some?

There are many feminists that would have you believe feminism is about achieving equality.

That it is the seeking out of unequal injustice and putting it right and making sure men and women in the future as well as the present can live in equal status with an equal voice.

However, there are many skeptics of which club I must assert that I belong to. If feminism really is about equality, then why don’t they fight for the areas in which females have advantages and in which males are in a huge disadvantage?

Why do they only ever seem to hold men accountable for wrong doings when there are areas of crime and poor social behavior that women dominate and why don’t they rely on studies done by neutral parties instead of quoting their own, highly dubious, cherry picked, self surveyed, self serving statistics?

I think I know why.

Because feminism in western society has become like all powerful bohemoths – Pointless, corrupt, envious and willing to do anything to keep and obtain more power.

Feminism seeks out more than equality, the seek out favorable outcomes for their gender in a free market that they have no business in abusing with socialist policy.

Now please don’t take offense. Saying Feminism is evil isn’t the same as saying women are evil. There is a monumental difference. But Many men rightfully feel that if feminists were to replace the word man or men with the words “Jew” or “Black” it would be hate speech, but they think it is fine to use such anti male language.

Anything testosterone related is deemed evil. Or at least “problematic”.

Feminist websites never report on female perpetrated crime, but frequently cite male crimes.

Frequently being the operative word. They blog post after post, but don’t realize (or perhaps do), that they are spreading hate.

Feminism Sucks Men’s Self Worth

Feminism seeks to paint men as evil and bad by continuously playing with self serving statistics, whilst simultaneously ommiting the heavy and omnipresent existence of female crime and wrong doing.

If you think I’m being unfair, then look at any feminist blog anywhere and they consistently bring up news reports and articles relating to men’s crime. They do it to prove a point – That men are more violent, but they do it in a manner to assert that this must mean all men are violent which they are not.

It has gotten to the stage where men are fair game for insults and blame, not to mention prejudice. The worst thing is that it is hitting young boys hard and could have a disastrous effect on already vulnerable male youths.

Feminism’s self serving, man hating (in many instances) policies need to be countered with common sense, rational thinking and equality needs to be sought by man and women side by side.

But, feminists don’t want to join forces. That would mean men would have a voice and by the apparent lack of interest by women in the real issues that men face today, it would seem like lip service by anyone saying otherwise.

Everything is the fault of the patriarchy.

That’s the feminist line and the patriarchy is male so men are to blame for everything.

Feminism Sucks The Honesty Out Of The Truth

Have you heard the latest domestic violence statistics?

Chances are you’d have to be living under a rock to not know that rape and domestic violence are at an all time high and men are the culprits.

1. I won’t deny men commit more rapes, in fact they commit the vast majority.
2. What I can’t stand for however is the propensity to paint violence and sexual abuse as an all male problem, whilst we point fingers at men and turn a blind eye to the honest, truth.

You see men are just as likely to be assaulted by their partners, but this is a fact or a statistic
that you’ll never hear in the mainstream media.

Is it because we don’t care?
No – Yes – Maybe

Is it because feminism is very pervasive and persuasive?
Yes – Definitely.

But the biggest problem with feminism is not that it fights for equality, but that in it’s most current form, it fights for the rights of women, not equality.

So don’t tell me you are fighting for the equality of my son and daughter, when you are not.

Tell the truth – My daughter and my wife, my sister and my mother, but don’t ever tell me you are fighting for the equality of my brother, my son, my father or me.

Because when feminists talk about domestic violence, they only talk about female victims, not the ever-growing number of men who are assaulted by their female partners. This is a problem, simply because funding for the prevention of domestic violence is directed heavily at the male perpetrator – female victim advertisements that you can’t go anywhere without seeing.

Fine! I have no problem with stopping the scumbag guys out there that assault their significant others. But if men are being assaulted just as often, don’t you think it might be fair to address the issue as a non-gender specific one?

So where is the feminist outcry?

If they were for equality then they’d be out there telling the sisters to treat men with respect and to stop violence by being a role model.

That’s what us men are been told, be a role model, tell you friends that no means no and show respect for women.

Where are the campaigns telling women that it’s not okay to slap a man in the face if he offends you in general conversation, or it’s not okay to hit a guy with a baseball bat if he breaks up with you, and it’s never okay to kick a guy in the groin.

I’m still waiting?

Men are bad, bad, bad – Women crime – What Crime?

Airline companies such as Air New Zealand and British Airways have in the past implemented policies that mean no man can sit next to a child that is not in his guardianship.

In other words they have gender profiled men.

What bothers me is that women murder more children than men, so if we are stereotyping or profiling genders, then shouldn’t we ban women from being near kids on the basis that they are more likely to kill them?

Of course not! – It’s a ridiculous idea, but they are doing it to men and the equality fighting feminists are nowhere to be seen.

Again, if it doesn’t effect a female, it doesn’t concern them. That’s not seeking equality, that seeking gender based advantage.

Did you know that in that same country, they brought in a new law that says if the police get involved in a domestic disturbance issue, then they must detain the man.

This is at the whim of the word of the female involved.

Does that sound fair, or equal or non sexist to you?

What it means is that any nasty female can get her man taken away from his family, even if he has done nothing, because her word as a female is more important than his.

Feminists have no qualms in defending such actions either.

Here’s a quote from a feminist in defense of such unequal laws :

” I’m not so concerned – I think that men’s right to be at home needs to be balanced with women’s right to safety in their homes”.

So because a women is marginally more likely to be assaulted by her husband than he is by her, then it is okay to use statistical percentages to enact policies that deny some one of their human rights, and deny them due process or equality of representation under the law.

All because 2% of the men in New Zealand assault their wives and even though 1.6% of men are assaulted by their wives.

But what about they fact that a child is more likely to be murdered by their mother. Shouldn’t this form a statistical basis for the women to be removed?

The truth is a man has a right to be in his home and both men and women have a right to be safe.

The truth is if you said women are more likely to deprive their child of food, or leave them in the car whilst they play slot machines, you be right, but you’d be accused of being sexist and some how feminism would find a way to blame it on the patriarchy.

No wonder many men and women are tired of the feminist viewpoint.

It seems that statistic only matter when they support a pro female agenda.

Buy A Pink Ribbon

I love it that we as a society have really gotten behind the pink ribbon concept, and for once I’ll leave my skeptism of sheep following lynch mob mentalities and congratulate the public on getting behind any charitable endeavor.

But if you want true equality then it’s worth noting that:

In gender neutral diseases men die from far more in almost every category.

Prostate cancer kills almost as many men as breast cancer does women.

Men live on average 5 years less than women.

So where are the equalists looking to level the playing fields.

Men are negatively affecting in almost all areas of health and yet male health care funding falls well short of that for female health care funding and research.

How equal is that?

What is being done about it by feminists?

Nothing!

They are for the benefit of females and the silence of males on issues that are male related.

Feminism Sucks Teh Menz Point Of View

You’ll hear frequently about the feminists using the phrase “what about teh menz?”. It’s their way of saying that when men comment on an issue, then they have no right to.

Not only that but they use such childish language to imply that the men’s point of view is whining and pointless.

This way it doesn’t matter what a man says or feels, it is denounced and ridiculed before it leaves his lips.

This is feminism in action.

When they write about their one sided, skewed views on domestic assault, they often have men calling them on their lies. Many of the men have some pretty fair statistics and logical arguments, but the feminists will simply say it’s yet another “what about the menz?” argument.

Feminists can complain and complain about their issues, but when a MRA rebukes their spurious claims, they fight back with “what about the menz?”. It’s name calling for adults.

It’s like being on the playground all over again.

….and these are the people that want to enforce political policies.

Only The Good Jobs Please

Have you heard about innequality in the workplace?

How about sexual harrasment?

Did you know that males account for 91% of workplace deaths?

Not much equality happening there and the feminists are not exactly doing their bit to usher more females into dangerous work roles. You see it would seem that it’s okay for men to have the dangerous, deadly occupations, but when males dominate CEO statistics (a very, very rare, small miniority group of workers), then it’s not equal and needs to be rectified.

So once again, they want the best jobs, but they don’t want equality in the areas that are not the best. The funny, or sad thing about society is that there are bad jobs and good jobs, but the feminist don’t want to split the bad and the good.

The want to eat the cake, but they don’t want to do the dishes.

What about the right to vote?

In the USA a man has to register for the draft to be eligible to vote, but women do not have to.

You’ll hear about rape stats and assault this and that from feminists, but where are they standing up with one voice demanding to have the same voting rights as men on this one?

Nowhere to be seen, or perhaps justs proportionately quite maybe?

You’ll even hear the feminist argument that men invented the draft.

It’s true, they did, but consider that women are the 52% majority voters in the USA, one could also argue what are feminist mothers doing to repeal this archaic law?

Don’t feminists care about equality?

This situation sure as heck ain’t equal, so why aren’t women standing up for their sons the way they do when it comes to their daughters?

Feminists don’t want to say a word, But mention rape statistics being dubious and unscientific and hysteria will be personified.

They even try and counter males who say they were assaulted by saying these men might be the ones doing the assaulting and are covering it up by playing the victim.

How do you argue with that?

They even try and point to statistics that say many of the men who were assaulted were in an act of self defense by the women, but these are the results of feminist studies. Other studies do not correlate with such claims.

So why do feminist studies seem to have different findings to more neutral ones?

Go figure – It supports their theories and they receive more funding.

In Conclusion

Men and women are neither inherently evil nor innately good. We are products of our environments, physiological indentity and most importantly our own choices.

Men and women face many similar issues and some very individual ones, but to say that one side’s are far more important than the other is to be extremely sexist and not in the least bit seeking equality.

Equality comes with good and bad, that is to say with the good comes the bad.

When women stop having the leverage of their children over their partners, when male suicide rates come down to match the female ones when men live as long as females, when men get a look in for health research funding when police in domestic violence call-outs stop assuming men are the perpetrators when men don’t have to sign up to the draft when males become teachers again without the fear of finger-pointing and suspicion of ulterior motives.

Then we can say men matter!

Until these things and more are rectified men need to demand action.

Feminists do, but only action for females.

There are many problems men face, perhaps it could be argued that men should fight for those problems to be addressed, but considering men worked hard for feminism and that equality is supposed to be genderless it would almost be sexist for feminists to not help men’s issues or at least mention them.
