Is There A Sex Double Standard Between Men And Women

The double standard of men and women having sex.

Warning – This is about sex and can be graphic in nature, if you are not comfortable with the biological activities of humans, then you should not read this, or possibly anything

Is it a double standard when men who get the girl are called studs and the girl who gets all the boys is called a slut?

Are there important differences here at play or is it just an out and out double standard that proof and logic can’t possibly reveal?

I’ll try and answer those questions using some pretty reasonable terms and take a look at both societal expectations, biology and a hint of reality for good measure.

It’s yet another area where those problem feminists and their enablers attack men insisting it’s an area where men have it easy when the truth is, it’s just more subterfuge to cover the fact that men and women have very different levels of difficulty when it comes to acquiring sexual parterns.

The majority of this blog is about boosting testosterone but I like to touch on issues that affect men and this is one of those.

Men Are Studs – Women Are Sluts

This is the first point of foul usually called out. But, just how many of these studs are actually ever labelled that way?

You’ve seen it in movies, but it seems to harder to find examples in reality. A few movie stars cashing in on the currency of their fame get some airtime, but closer to the day in day out grudge of the real world, it appears that there lies a teeny bit of a conundrum in the way men view other guys who play-the-game.

There’s jealousy afoot!

You see, it’s not all back patting and high fives as some would have you believe, in fact there’s often a level of jealousy aforded to those with the attributes that others lack to get the girls.

It seems that in the real world, there is in fact very little talk of studs.

Research amongst 18-35 year old males conducted by Monash University showed a clearer picture.

When asked if impressed by a man who had slept with 10 or more partners only 31% replied yes.

When asked if impressed by a man who had slept with 25 or more partners the number drops to an interesting 19%

Those are not huge numbers, but it shows that men are not revered for their sexual prowess as many people would believe.

Is the Game Even?

Before denouncing double standards and crying foul, it is often wise to at least cast a cursory glance outside the box and look back in at the game itself and have a think about the rules.

For there to be a double standard, the rules would have to be the same for both sides right?

I mean that would be fair, to insist that men get called studs and women get called sluts would only be a double standard if ‘twer an even playing field right?

So to get a clear view of the game, we need to ask a few questions:

Is it as easy for a guy to have sex as a women?

Very rarely do I hear it argued that men have it easier than women when it comes to sex. Even the most ardent, blind feminist radicals seem to trip and stutter when they have the nerve to argue that men don’t have a completely tougher time trying to enlist a willing sex partner.

It works like this – If a man propositions 50 females, how many would say yes versus a female propositioning 50 men.

Luckily at study was done which can clear up the question.

One man and one woman of relative attractiveness asked 50 random strangers for sex and the results were as followed:

The man received 3 yes replies, which some might suggest are pretty good odds, until you see that the women received 19 positive replies.

Over six times the number of positive responses that the male had.

I’ll be the first to admit that that subject size was fairly low, but I don’t think the result would change much in a larger study group.

One thing most people agree on is that it is much harder for a man to find a sexual partner than it is for a woman, we have a study showing it can be six times harder. This would suggest, initially, that the playing field is not level and the game is not fair, but there are other questions to be asked.

It’s always the same thing from feminists though, “teh menz” have it easier, even in the face of overwhelming evidence.

Do Women Want Sex As Much As Men – What Hookers, Never Heard Of Them

If we can establish that the demand is equal then we can better evaluate the logical value of the double standard claim.

But are women as sexual as men?

A quick glance around society shows a culturally obvious standard of the horny man and the chaste woman, but is the perception skewed?

In a recent study adorning the pages of time magazine, it shows that there is a fairly large gap in parity for the sexual desires of men and women.

Men apparently want sex 6.3 times per week which is almost every day, women however were more content with just 4.1 times per week in comparison.

So men want “it” 2.2 more times per week than women, that would mean demand is not equal.
Possibly this could be quite easily shown by the sheer number of sex workers.

A simple glance at the sex market, shows that there are upward of 80 times more female sex workers than male ones.

It would seem only the most ardent feminist radical, who wishes to ignore society in favor of feminist myopia will ever argue that men are not looking for sexual activity more often than women.

Differing Outcomes = Differing Rules?

Men and women are not biologically identical, never moreso than in the area of sex organs. But do these differences beget differing outcomes that have an effect on the evaluation of the man = stud women = slut charge?

First we can take a mature look at how the biological ramifications are entirely different for men and women and let science show that it’s not the same outcome.

Women can get pregnant and as such bear a heavier burden from sex when the advent of contraception failing. Men bear no such risk, so it is not a logical consideration.

A lady who has sex runs the risk of getting pregnant every time, which can affect her physicality, not so for a man.

When a man sleeps with a promiscuous female, the chances of her getting pregnant and lying about the paternity are higher, because of this it is another reason that promiscuous females are valued less and let’s be honest and mature – We all use hundreds of ways to evaluate the worth of a person to us as a partner.

Knowing that a girl could be pregnant to someone else and you could be the poor sucker she lies to, well, that has to have some bearing. No man wants to be cuckholded.
This can not happen to a woman.

The outcomes of sex can be completely different, so it means we have another factor in play.

STDs & A Biological Fact Or Two

Sex can be hard to talk about, but it can be hard to read about as well. The mere notion of the term ejaculation could have you squirming, deep breathing or even clicking out to a new page.
Thanks for staying.

Being that men and women carry biological differences, it stands to reason that there may be different risks involved and as such this may also affect the possibility of the interplay and question of whether there is a double standard because men are called studs and women are called sluts.

The more partners you have sex with, the more likely you are to contract a disease. That’s going to have some seriously obvious affects on how we value virginity versus promiscuity, but being that both men and women can be promiscuous, the question is; is one gender more susceptible to sexually transmitted diseases and if so, will this change the view of the sexual double standard?

Firstly, I’d like to cite leading research on Sexually transmitted diseases, by highlighting an interesting fact – Women are more susceptible to STD’s. WHO

Studies show that women under 21 were 3 times more likely to contract a sexually transmitted disease and above that age were twice as likely as men to procure an STD, including HIV.

Knowing this, it is fair and reasonable to assume this definitely means that women who are more promiscuous carry 2-3 times the risk of gaining a disease and because of this scientifically undisputed fact it means men and women having sex are not on an equal playing field and the double standard is well and truly starting to seem debunked.

Anatomically speaking the female vagina is internal and the male penis is external. This is the reason for why women are more susceptible to STD’s. As men can wash off the fluids contacted through sex, it is much harder for a women. NIH

This also plays a role in the determination of evaluating sexual liberation and the way we would logically view men and women differently.

A promiscuous man is far less likely to have the genetic material of a partner’s sexual fluids on his person than a promiscuous female is.

There’s no way of getting around this, it’s the nature of the biological differences and goes a partial way to explaining that having sex with a very sexually active women means a higher chance of coming into contact with some other person’s bodily fluids.
You can’t deny the “ick” factor.

Size Matters And Doing The Business

We have to get a little deeper into this equation and we have to really dig down into the heart of matters and find out if there are factors in play that can seriously affect the premise of this so called “double standard”.

Firstly, it’s worth noting that the most common sexual position is the missionary position (man on top), then doggy style (self explanatory), then woman on top.

Suffice to say, by looking at this, we can evaluate certain things.

Men have to do most of the work. If you don’t like this evaluation, then I’m not sure how I can rearrange the biological actions in such a way that this would be false. The truth is most times during sex, a women merely lays down and a man has to do the bulk of the work.

Numerous sex studies already show us this and although there are many people doing many things, the majority of sex being had is by people in long term relationships and the overwhelming majority of that sex is women laying down – Man thrusting on top.

It’s also worth noting, because we have the time and werewithal to do so, that women often achieve orgasm through clitoral stimulation only. Now this means that frequently the man has to put quite a lot of extra work to help his sex partner achieve orgasm.

Frequently men have to work harder in sex and women do not. Now we all know this isn’t the case every time, all the time, but it can be quite soundly argued that men work harder in sexual intercourse than women.

There is also a little matter of SIZE.

The variations of a vagina are fewer and have less an impact on sexual pleasure than a penis’s.

What exactly do I mean?

No two examples of female genitalia are exactly alike, in fact externally they vary as much as penis’s, but biologically they are far more similar in depth and feel than are penis’s in general.
Does this matter? If so why?

Size does matter, it’s as simple as that. Girth and length mean a great deal to the sexual pleasure of a female partner, but often a woman who experiences more sex partners will experience more variation and a larger likelihood of finding a penis that fits her perfectly and helps with intercourse orgasm.

Remember we just talked about how women do not always orgasm during sex? Well, men do almost every time. The internal shape of the vagina and the tightness play quite differently being that the vagina is a collapsed tube and almost always accomodates a penis satisfactorially meaning orgasm most every time.

So what has any of this got to do with anything?

From a female’s perspective, a man who has had a lot of sex partners has most likely experienced far less variation in sexual pleasure, but to a man, he is well aware that a female sex partner who has had several other partners, could very possibly and quite likely have had sex with someone who can give her an intercoursal oragasm, but there is a high chance that will not be able to do so.
Partally ego can come into play here.

A man who fears he may not measure up to the size of past partners is not necessarily being irrational nor obtuse, he may very well in fact put the concept of her pleasure very highly and it can be off, putting and pressuring to know you very possibly might not meet physical expectations.

In short a slut probably has had a penis bigger than yours guys, but a stud probably has not felt a vagina too different from yours ladies no matter how much the angry harpies stamp their feet and vent about it.

Every decent person wants to be a good lover, but a man is more likely to be let down by his biology and he KNOWS it.
That segues us nicely into the next little problem…

Pressure To Perform

Now that we’ve addressed the issue of size, there are other issues that women do not have, don’t have to worry about and probably pay little personal mind to.

However, for a man, these are pretty personal and can be very problematic.

There are people trying to state pretty loudly and fairly angrily that there is a double standard in sex for men and women. They try and say that a man who has many sex partners is called a stud, whilst a lady who is promiscuous is unfairly labelled a slut.

So for this to be the case, the cards that are dealt would have to be fairly even and I’m about to put the last nail in the coffin on this case and prove the cards are not even, there is no double standard and it’s not even close.

Men can’t afford to take things personally because it might affect sexual performance. In toher words, men have to remain reticent, on the ball, and on their game.

Imagine this:

A man and a lady go back to her apartment after a nice meal and a couple of classy drinks, things get hot and heavy and they move things along to the bedroom. She likes what she sees, she starts unbuttoning his pants and he takes hers off, they are good to go, but right at the moment of beginning, there is a problem.

Impotence.

Every man at some stage of his life will suffer from the inability to gain an erection, this pressure can become even worse when it is thought about and worried about. There is medication, though it is hugely inconvenient and the side effects are not so fun, but for your average guy who is in his early 20’s, he doesn’t think it will happen.

Women have no such worry, it is the man’s burden and it is difficult and problematic. It is also, like a lot of men’s problems met with very little sympathy and frequently the man is charged with accusations of not being attracted to the partner and is made to feel worse.

It’s not fun.

Then there is another little problem men have to deal with if they get past the impotent hurdle and that is premature ejaculation. Now biologically speaking this was actually a boon as it meant faster seeding of sperm because it lowered the chance of interuption stopping fertilisation.

In other words fast sex = More babies, less detractions.

When it comes to sex as an enjoyable past time and the prolonged enjoyment of a partner, it seems premature ejaculation, can be a problem.

A problem that females with their differing biology do not ever have to deal with.
Like most things male, little sympathy is afforded and sometimes resentment and anger can dwell in a partner who wishes for more.

Men have to deal with this anxiety, the repercussions and what it may mean to a possible relationship.

It’s yet another reason why the idea that there is some kind of double standard become more ludricous, the more you look at biology.

In Summary

Not An Even Playing Field – Not A Double Standard

If men are not all that often called studs and are in all actuallity called creeps, dogs and sleezes. Then this whole meme of men being called studs is a little “off”.

We have been through enough examples that we can see logically men and women are biologically different – Only the crazy are going to attempt to argue that. We can also see sex carries completely diferent repercussions for men and women and that the pressure is on men and that the values and outcomes are not the same.

So how can it be a double standard?

My conclusion is that it is not a double standard, in fact it is far from it.

Let’s look at the examples and draw a conclusion:

  1. We know that it is fairly rare for men to be called a stud, they are frequently derided themselves and called creeps and sleazes/sleazeballs.
  2. Secondly it is shown that it is six times harder for a man to find a sexual partner.
  3. Thirdly Females want to have sex less frequently than men.
  4. There are exponentially more female sex workers, due to DEMAND
  5. Women are 2-3 times more likely to catch an STD including HIV
  6. Women can get pregnant
  7. Having sex and then a relationship with a slut increase the risk of being cuckholded
  8. Sex with a slut increases the chance of contact with other’s body fliud more than if reversed
  9. Women have less anxiety about their genital being inferior to a “Stud’s” previous partner’s
  10. Men have to perform far more physical activity during sex
  11. Men have to perform supplementary activity to achieve and orgasm for a partner
  12. The pressure to perform is mostly solely on the man
  13. Men have to deal with impotence and get past that in order to have sex – Women don’t
  14. Men have to deal with premature ejaculation and women do not
  15. Men may face anger when 13 or 14 arise.

So in case anyone doesn’t quite get it; men have to work much harder to find a sex partner, once there they have to overcome several physical obstacles and once past them they do the majority of the physical work in the sexual interaction.

A women can seriously be in the situation where she asks a guy for sex, lays there, does nothing and that’s that.

I fail to see the notion that any sane person can look past those fifteen examples and not see the idea of a double standard as ridiculous.

But, then again some radical people, want to make some people victims no matter what. Some people will read this an say “hey, there’s no double standard” and some people will read it and say “hey you’re sexist, it doesn’t matter what you say – there’s a double standard”.

Guess who?
