The Feminist Mockery Of Men’s Real Issues

What About These Men’s Issues?

A Little Bit On Feminism

Equality the concept is both admirable and important in its attainment of opportunity for everyone. Unfortunately, people and their cultures are not equal and do not believe the same things, so equality to some people may have a very different meaning to others.

A socialist, a capitalist and a non-statist scuba diver may have quite differing opinions on what equal opportunity is and what should or shouldn’t be done to achieve a desired result.

Why is this relevant to feminism?

Feminism itself is not one specific meaning. Many times you will hear the feminists quote “feminism is not a monolith”, as a way to divert the things people take them to task over as being not necessarily their opinion.

The one single thing they do try to extol, is that feminism means equality for all.
This is their monolith, it is the definition they all stand by.

In other words, not all feminists agree.

Unfortunately, there exists too much action by feminists, too many sexist remarks, too many one sided articles and far too many unscientific studies for them to claim that feminism is about equality.

There are a myriad, an absolute mountain of ways in which men are not equal to women. There are so many areas in which it is harder to be a man that listing them here would most likely make for a less than readable experience, and I want you to keep reading.

Equality Means Equal – Does That Need Repeating?

There are also ways in which women are not equal to men, there are ways in which women suffer that are worth fighting for.

Feminism gives logic the big ol’ middle finger when it says it is about equality and yet it addresses women’s issues and minimalizes the men’s issues.

In many cases it purposefully seeks to dismiss men’s issues and debunk them. That’s right, there are feminists that spend their time not fighting for equality, but trying to make the very real problems of men seem trivial. That’s not only hateful, it’s also kinda sad.

It’s sad that someone has so much anger, that they would look at real problems faced by men and actually decide they want to find out how to cover them up, debate them and draw attention away from them.

What About Teh Menz?

Derision instead of factual debate is puerile at the best of times, at the worst it is an immature exposure of one’s ability to make a coherent point.

Feminism claims to be about equality, it claims to not hate men and yet appears to attack anything remotely related to men, males, and testosterone, as if this stereotype was unfounded. Many ex-feminists will tell you that the ranks of feminism are absolutely littered with hate for men, often to the point that when some women question the ideals of feminism’s leaders; when they ask about or state the validity of men’s claims to have real problems, they are shut down, harassed and often abused.

One feminist writer, who posed several questions, was targeting with a smear campaign and received death threats.

So much for logical debate?

Where is the equality of ideas?

Men’s Problems – What Problems?

Feminism’s long reach shows utter disdain for men’s rights by ignoring perfectly vaild, researched and proven areas of male suffering.

When feminists talk about an area in which they perceive women to have issues in the blogosphere, sometimes there are men who make statements that consist no more than that men sometimes have those same problems. That they would like these issues addressed.

An all too common tactic among feminism, is to not hold out the hand of friendship and work together, nope, the usual response is that he is wrong and that men do not have problems and that talking about men’s issues, which many of course be human issues; has no place in a conversation about women’s problems.

Facts or no facts.

What About Teh Menz Problemz?

What could have been a unified force becomes a “you don’t have a real problem – we do, go away, you’re not welcome here” charge.

They call male commentators out with a derision known as “what about teh menz”. Apart from the implication the men can not spell, it is an ad hominem attack design to stifle any reality and replace it with insult, which to those who are male haters, is fine and it diverts the focus away from the possible perception that a man may have a problem.

In fact go to any feminist blog right now and find a subject in which men share problems with women like suicide and offer your most polite, most sincere assertion that as a man you know how suicide rates are high and that a common solution could be worked for and you will be met with very little enthusiasm and most likely be met with anger and accused of trying to hijack the conversation. No matter how sincere you are.

Men Are Welcome In Feminism…

Well, Almost – Just Don’t Mention Men’s Problems

It seems male feminists are welcomed it is only if they denounce men’s problems and accept the doctrine that women are victims and men have no problems.

Frequently in blogs that are not feminist per se, men will comment that the problems women are complaining of are apparent in men’s lives also and that it is a shared problem, yet they are still frequently shut down by feminist commentators who charge them with derailing the one sided debate.
Unfortunately, what often happens is these very man haters are the ones who BRING men into the debate.

It happens frequently when they see a news story on a woman who committed a crime and they talk about how this crime is the fault of a male society, or how the woman must have had a reason and that reason was a bad man.

You start to get a feeling for the hypocrisy when you see men entering the discussion, but being told it’s not about men’s issues and the subject matter should not be deviated from, however when the subject matter is deviated from it is fine if that deviation is about blaming men and complaining about men. It’s funny, because no such charge of deviation is leveled at anyone.

We want to talk about you not with you.

Ignoring Men’s Issues And Chasing Fallacies

Feminism does not recognize men’s issues almost ever. Sometimes they have no choice. because the evidence is so hugely overwhelming, that if they even tried to argue, then they would seem facile and dishonest.

Feminists will tell you that men have all the power, even though power has many, many incarnations, but such is the extremely narrow, totally entrenched view of feminism – They only understand and endorse two forms of power – The members of government and the boards of corporations.

The unbelievably ignorant dismissal of all over power forms is wretched and divisive.

Governments have no power without voters. There is no male majority with out consent and approval via the democratic process (in democratic countries of course).

The majority of voters are female and as male mortality rates at birth stay current and men consistently are outlived by women, the female majority of voters could be higher than 65% within 25 years.

There are more male politicians, because less females run for office and more females vote for male representatives.

It’s democratic, it’s fair and it is due to choice.

Menz Haz All Da Powa

Feminists will tell you we live in a culture that dismisses the abilities of females to be politicians and heads of state, yet at the time of writing this article, Germany Has A Female Chancellor,Australia has a Female Feminist Prime Minister, USA almost had a female president in Hillary Clinton, many other democracies have elected female heads of state.

On the subject of corporations, a company can not exist with out customers. Women control 80% of expenditure in the United States.

So if feminism has so much inclination towards corporate power, shouldn’t it put some stock into the idea that these corporations are controlled by the expenditure of women?
Is it not ignorant to ignore?

Just to recap:

Females make up the majority of voters and have the power to control which government gets elected.

Females make up 80% of expenditure and have the complete power to control what a company can profit from.

It seems like there are two sides to the coin here and feminists are only interested in looking at one.

Countering Feminist Fallacies

There is a certain irony when confronting feminists with research and broader parameters than they are used to within their myopic confinement of thought.

When posited the idea that females make up the majority of voters, feminists will quickly move to counter the argument with the idea that females don’t vote in blocks with a hive mindset.

This is one of the most sensible things they charge, because for all apparent knowledge we have, they don’t. It’s completely true.

But by this very reason, this very admission, we can also make a separate deduction which counters another of their arguments.

If male’s make up a majority of board room positions, would it not stand to reason that they also do not think in block with a hive mindset and do not make gender specific decisions?

For this reason is it not sexist to assume there is any gendered power in boardrooms and that they make decisions on the basis of money and profitability?

If this is the case, then why do we need to enforce rules to place women in board positions?

By that logic, should we not force men to have an extra percentage of voting in elections, because they are the minority?

Should we not be spending as much time and money addressing workplace DEATHS that men make up 94% of?

Why Being A Man Is Not All About Having Unlimited Power And Advantages

It’s actually surprisingly easy to counter feminist’s claims that men have far more power and opportunity than women. All we have to do is look at the areas of living that are most important and we start to get a picture of how tough men really do have it and how feminism’s attempts to silence debates about men’s issues will simply not last for much longer as the obvious becomes more… Obvious!

Few people would argue that the most important areas of live are health, money and family.

Men’s health:

Quite simply men have it worse on all fronts.

Men die earlier,
Men suffer from more diseases,
Men occupy 94% of workplace deaths
Men make up 70% of murder victims
Men make up 80% of assault victims

So What About Teh Menz? Who cares eh?

But even in the face of this, men consume only 30% of health service funding, 21% of health research and 38% of gender specific health care preventative advertising.
Absolutely no advantage there.

All That Money Men Have:

In the USA, men make up only 20% of expenditure. Feminists do frequently charge that men have more money because of a completely debunked wage gap, yet when it comes to spending it, research shows time and time again that women spend almost all of it.

Walk into any mall and you will see proof, but it you want absolutely irrefutable evidence search for advertising media industry records and you will see whom they market to and why.

An hour in the mall, or an hour watching TV will leave you in no doubt as to WHO spends the money and who controls the cash.

Being that men lose a far larger share of asset ownership in divorce and the divorce rate sits at over 35%, women end up with huge asset retention in divorce.

Feminism frequently levels accusations of this stereotype rich white guy but seem to be silent to the point of deafening on the little matter of his equally wealthy and asset entitled wife. They forget to mention that couples share assets and these women frequently leave their husbands but keep more than their fair share.

Men also die earlier leaving women to inherit their partner’s share.

As it stands women in the USA own 79% of all assets and growing.

So being that women own more wealth and spend more, men actually are surprisingly not all driving Ferraris and sipping Remy Martin XO.

Men And Family:

This is sad, because there exist so many good men who live to see more of their children, but are held back by an antiquated legal system and an inherently non legal bias against men.

In contested custody cases men only win 13% of custody, while women receive custody 80% of the time (the other 7% can be relatives who contest against both parents or one).

Men also work longer hours and get far less time with children than they frequently want. Sometimes this is by choice, but also it is frequently completely out of their hands.

There is an inherent bias in the legal system that sees men lose the right to see their children and get punished for being the bread winner, for working long hours in jobs they hate only to lose the right to see their children.

Men are expected by society and more importantly frequently by their spouse to go to work almost every time a child is born. There are few men that are given the choice to stay home by their partners even if they want that choice.

Few people would argue that spending time with children is one of the greatest, most rewarding gifts a person can have in life and whilst it might not be every body’s cup of tea, most people will give you no greater value than family as the supreme value.

Men who want family time constantly have a life of missing out.

Men’s Issues – In Summary

So men die younger, get more diseases, are murdered more frequently, are sufferers of the most serious injuries, suffer from almost all workplace deaths, have less assets and money because of the divorce rate and female longevity, have less time to spend with loved ones due to spousal and societal expectations and are frequently referred to as the privileged gender when women live longer, get less diseases, are murdered less often, suffer less serious injuries, make up very few work place deaths, have more assets due to divorce rates and longevity, spend more money – Especially on luxury purchases, have more time to spend with family and anyone has the dearth to call men privileged?

The next time someone dismisses men’s issues with ignorant statements like “what about the menz” as a way to arrogantly stifle debate, maybe you might think twice about their motives and what hate lies behind people who would willingly ignore such monumental issues.
